A requirement in the Microsoft Access Three-Course SeriesThis course introduces VBA syntax, the programming interface (VB Editor), the event-driven programming model in MS Access, and data access technologies (DAO/ADO). Learn to navigate the VBA environment, create basic programming units, and apply VBA programming elements such as variables and controlling executions. Implement dynamic coding using object models, use form, report and control events to link program unites to your application, create error-handling routines, and use data access technologies (DAO/ADO) to automate database tasks.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of X405.5, Developing Database Applications or equivalent. Previous programming experience is helpful but not required.
