Learn the fundamentals of PHP Hypertext Preprocessor, how PHP functions in the Web's client-server relationship as well as how it relates to standard HTML. You gain an understanding of one of the most common uses for PHP: handling the data created by an HTML form. Other topics you study include writing PHP scripts, using PHP to manage data, and creating Web applications with PHP. You also learn some of PHP's more advanced features and security issues.
Special technical requirements for PHP: Each student should have the following available for the course: hosted web site with 10MB of disk space; MySQL; and PHP.
