Bathroom Design
X413.6 (1 semester unit in Architecture)
Learn the fundamentals of bathroom layout and design in this course, focusing on the practicality and overall aesthetics of the space. Learn to apply the process for selecting and using materials and plumbing fixtures that are appropriate. Through hands-on projects you gain experience in producing everything from initial concepts to working drawings.
Note: Graphic presentation skills are essential.
Prerequisite: Drafting X412.2.

TIFFANY LEICHTER, B.Arch., is an associate and designer at Kahn Design Associates, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm in Berkeley. Since graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Leichter has focused on the intersection of architecture, interior design, and use of new and innovative materials. Her work includes café and restaurant design, office interiors, and custom homes with complex kitchens and baths, with other creative pursuits including garment and pattern making and textile arts.
