Health Policy in the United States
X55 (2 semester units in Public Health)
Get an overview of the healthcare system with specific focus on past and current public policies that have shaped healthcare in the United States. In particular, you examine health policy, health services financing, and organization. You analyze current health policies and how those policies impact the cost, quality, and access to services to better understand and critique them from an informed health policy perspective.
