A requirement in the Certificate Program in Integrated Circuit Design and TechniquesThe course provides an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of semiconductor devices, enabling you to cope with the ever-increasing bandwidths of state-of-the-art designs. A broad range of topics in BJT and MOS technologies is covered, with an emphasis on delivering an inspiring perspective involving physical concepts, operation principles, second-order effects, and modeling and simulation. The scope of the individual research projects covers real-world issues in advanced CMOS modeling in the 90 nm or 65 nm scale and future trends in the statistical IC design in nanoelectronics.
