This course covers dataset structures, optimization tips, manipulations of complex datasets, and high performance benefits of distributed computing (using an example based on SCILAB's Parallel Virtual Machine). You gain a deep understanding and problem-solving experience with these powerful platforms.

DIMITRIOS IOANNOU, Ph.D., received his doctorate from the University of Florida. He has more than 10 years of experience in the areas of image processing and software development. His areas of expertise include computer vision, pattern recognition, software development, and applied mathematics. Dr. Ioannou is presently employed by GE.NOTE: This class is closed.
