Revit I
X463 (2 semester units in Architecture)
Learn the basic principles in Revit building information modeling (BIM) and its uses in the design process. You participate in hands-on activities to help familiarize yourself with a parametric 3-D modeling program that takes you from design to preliminary construction documentation and presentation layout. You then create floor plans using basic building components, coordinated elevations, 3-D perspectives, and documentation using the Revit program.
Prerequisite: Drafting X412.2 and Space Planning X413.8, or consent of instructor.
