X109 (3 semester units in Integrative Biology)

Study fundamental concepts of mammalian physiology (primarily human), including neural, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, endocrine, digestive, and reproductive physiology. Explore in detail homeostasis, molecular and cellular physiology, and the functions of tissues, organs and organ systems. At the end of the course, you better understand current topics of experimental research and grasp key concepts of experimental research. Biology majors, pre-medical, pre-health students, and those looking for a career change or to refresh their physiological knowledge can benefit greatly from this experience.
