Investment Grade Solar System Feasibility Studies
X430 (2 semester units in College of Natural Resources)
Learn to understand, analyze, plan, and produce an investment-grade solar feasibility report, a tool that evaluates and justifies commercial photovoltaic projects. In this advanced course, you are taught a highly structured approach that includes capitalization, production, site selection, host requirements, and permitting issues. The course introduces you to current technologies at a time when there is a high demand for commercial solar systems driven by rising utility rates and an increased environmental consciousness.
