(formerly Financial Auditing)
Get a solid theoretical and practical background in auditing. You learn to examine an organization’s financial statements to determine if they fairly present the organization’s current financial position and results of operations and are free of significant errors. You also gain a solid background for the auditing section of the CPA examination.
Prerequisite: Intermediate Financial Accounting I or II (X421.1 or X421.2), or consent of instructor.

HARRY F. LORSBACH, M.B.A., CPA, CIA, has more than 36 years of auditing experience at a wide variety of organizations. He is an internal auditor with the University of California. He has taught graduate and undergraduate auditing courses for more than 14 years at UC Berkeley and UC Santa Cruz extensions, and at Golden Gate University.
