Improvisation and Leadership
X498.3 (1 semester unit in Business Administration)
Explore the art and science of improvisation and learn to apply it to your business and leadership communication skills. Through improvisation, you can enhance your spontaneity, listening and awareness, expressive charisma, emotional intelligence, risk-taking, and your ability to make authentic social and emotional connections. These skills become increasingly critical as leaders rise within organizations, and through interactive exercises, you develop both interpersonal intuition and leadership confidence. No prior experience with improvisation or performance is necessary or presumed.
