The unique resources of the natural and urban environment provide fertile ground for creative exploration. In this course you investigate different elements of life using a variety of techniques and materials, including pencil, charcoal, ink, Conte, pastel, watercolor, collage and mixed media. Working both in the studio and out in the field, you have rich opportunities to experiment with media and imagery of daily life. Bring a pencil and sketch pad to the first class meeting.
