Mandarin VII

This course is a continuation of Mandarin VI for students who are truly self-motivated. You will further develop practical skills to communicate in authentic speaking settings. You will practice higher-level Chinese with more idiomatic expressions and cultural references; comparing cultural customs and different perspectives. You will read, write, and use about 100 more new characters in various contexts; and write in a number of genres.

JING WEN, M.A., has been teaching Chinese and English at the elementary, high school, and college levels for over 30 years. Drawing on relevant research findings in various fields and his extensive teaching experience, he makes difficult vocabulary items and puzzling grammar points easy to understand and retain for his students.
