The instructor demonstrates a variety of transparent watercolor techniques, including dry brush, wet in wet, glazing, gradation, texture and brushwork, and discusses compositional dynamics, color mixing, methods for creating luminous effects and rich contrasts, and the unique challenges of painting outdoors.
