Drug Treatment for Women Involved in the Criminal Justice System

6 hours CE credit: BRN, LCSW/MFT, CAADAC, and psychologists

Learn about a successful model for providing drug treatment for women enmeshed in the criminal justice system. Go beyond a clinical perspective and examine key social aspects of program development, including information on the characteristics of women within the criminal justice system and the pathways model. You examine gender-responsive principles for working with women with substance abuse problems. You also learn program evaluation and staff development strategies to ensure you are providing the best care for women in the criminal justice system.

Note: This course will be offered in the Bay Area in future terms.
