Through lectures and case discussions in this workshop, explore how transference and counter-transference figure into your therapeutic work and learn how to build the therapeutic alliance so that it becomes a resource for healing for you and your client.

DAVID RICHO, Ph.D., MFT, is a teacher, workshop leader, and writer, who works as a psychotherapist in Santa Barbara and San Francisco. He combines Jungian, transpersonal, and mythic perspectives in his work, and is the author of more than a dozen books including When the Past is Present: Healing the Emotional Wounds That Sabotage Our Relationships (Shambhala, 2008).
