Extended Practicum in TESL/TEFL: Developing Teacher Competence

Experiment, practice, form, and develop your own teaching philosophies by building on the knowledge and skills you learned in prior coursework. You gain confidence in your teaching abilities through numerous opportunities to plan lessons, micro-teach, self-reflect, observe, and provide as well as receive feedback. This course is recommended for TESL students who need guidance and extended practice teaching and can be taken before or after the Practicum in Course Design X327.1. Enrollment is restricted. DARIA SOONG-YOUNG SUK, M.S. in linguistics specilaizing in TESOL, has been an ESL/EFL instructor, teacher trainer, and material developer in the United States and South Korea. She has researched and published in TESL/TEFL and SLA fields on topics of learner interaction, language learning, teaching methodology, and material development.NOTE: This class is closed.
