How Relationships Work
Love is experienced differently by each of us, but five qualities stand out for most people: we feel loved when we receive attention, acceptance, appreciation, affection, and the freedom to live in accord with our own deepest needs. This course examines the nature of intimate relationships and introduces skills to make relationships more effective. You explore the stages and aspects of love and relationships, and learn techniques to resolve conflict and build an enduring bond. Topics include how to: know if you are ready for intimacy; recognize narcissism; maintain personal boundaries; and resolve issues such as jealousy, infidelity, disillusionment, and endings.
