Learn effective project management strategies in the built environment to lead a project from design conception to post occupancy. Project managers must be proficient in a broad range of subjects including technical and people skills. Acquire formal training in this important discipline, often lacking in traditional college education. Timely and effective communication is the cornerstone of effective project management and is pivotal to overall performance. Study best practices, case studies, hands-on team exercise and understand the impact from LEED, climate change, and other environmental concerns.
There are no prerequisites, but some project management experience as an owner in a design firm and/or experience in facilities management are recommended
