Understand success factors of popular Internet businesses and learn about important new technologies and Agile/Scrum management trends that pave the way for deploying the next generation IT systems and Web applications. In this introductory course, business professionals learn essential background knowledge and methodologies for successful Web-based business applications. Most importantly, you get the big picture for the entire innovation life cycle, from the creative process of developing your innovative ideas to delivering products or new services and cost control based on Agile/Scrum techniques.
Gain an introduction to Agile techniques and learn how to apply the agile development model for iterative management and control of complex projects. Joint and individual exercises and brainstorming sessions provide you a powerful and comprehensive set of practical product development techniques suitable for professional projects involving customer-facing business systems, software applications, online media, Web communities, crowd-sourcing, building smart solutions, user-centered design, website usage enhancement, and internal business system development projects.
