AutoCAD 2010 Civil 3D: Fundamentals
X400.6 (2 semester units in Civ. & Env. Eng.)
Learn all of the required topics and be prepared for the Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D fundamentals certification exam. Study basic concepts of civil engineering design using AutoCAD Civil 3D design tools. Manage survey information, learn the techniques of developing base maps, create surfaces, build profiles, and complete a realistic project that meets practical design criteria: "minimal mass haul" as designed and built. Learn how to deliver an appropriate professional level grading plan.
Be proficient in using key features in AutoCAD 's Civil 3D design program. Acquire hands-on CADD skills and process knowledge to systematically take a drawing from survey points ' data to a realistic full 3D model. Practice and hone your skills in our computer lab under supervision of your instructor. Learn to design a project based on the 3D model you have developed in class.
