A requirement in the Certificate Program in Business Administration, Business Essentials and M.B.A. ConcentrationsOrganizational complexity and the growing unpredictability of business circumstances require high-level leadership strategies and skills in resolving disputes, managing diversity, inspiring excellence, and building productive teams. Using case studies, small-group discussions, and examples from Bay Area organizations, you explore such issues as organizational conflict and power, management development, interpersonal influence, and the advantages and drawbacks of participative management.
