Graphic Design Studio II
X43 (2 semester units in Design)
A requirement in the Professional Sequence in Graphic DesignThrough lectures, discussions, projects, and critiques, this course develops your skills in composition, color use, and typography. Balancing the conceptual and technical aspects of graphic design, you define your design goals and develop your ability to generate concepts and layouts as well as to present them in a professional manner. Assignments range from logo development to layouts for books, brochures, magazines, posters, and package design.
Prerequisite: Students in the
Professional Sequence in Graphic Design must first complete Graphic Design Studio I X30.

DONA TURNER, B.F.A., is a graphic designer, artist, and illustrator. She works in package design, and her fine art design is represented by several Bay Area galleries. Her illustrations appear nationally on greeting cards and posters.
