Graphic Design Studio II

X43 (2 semester units in Design)

A requirement in the Professional Sequence in Graphic Design

Through lectures, discussions, projects, and critiques, this course develops your skills in composition, color use, and typography. Balancing the conceptual and technical aspects of graphic design, you define your design goals and develop your ability to generate concepts and layouts as well as to present them in a professional manner. Assignments range from logo development to layouts for books, brochures, magazines, posters, and package design.

Prerequisite: Students in the Professional Sequence in Graphic Design must first complete Graphic Design Studio I X30.
