Understand the processes of perception, cognition, motivation, emotion, learning, memory, and creativity in combination with social roles, group affiliations, and cultural background to explore how people communicate to themselves, to other individuals, within small groups, within large organizations, via mass communication, and in cross-cultural communications.

Prerequisite: Students must have completed lower-division coursework in general psychology prior to enrolling in this course.
