Investigate the myriad of training and licensing options available for mental health professionals in this course. Designed to provide you with information as well as a support group, you review topics ranging from comparison of the various licenses and financial realities to multicultural issues and theoretical orientations. Group discussions help you examine the realities of the profession. You also complete a personal inventory designed to aid your self-assessment for a career in mental health.

DANIEL FRONCZAK, Psy.D., is a staff psychologist at the Chemical Dependency Recovery Program, Kaiser Permanente Oakland. He has also worked in behavioral medicine, school-based settings, and does individual, family and group interventions. He is a former student of the course he now teaches.
