Concepts of Physics
X11 (4 semester units in Physics)
Gain an understanding of the principles of physics in the context of how everyday objects work in this introductory survey course intended for students majoring in humanities and social sciences as well as anyone with an interest in the subject. Topics include forces and motion, conservation laws, heat, fluids, vibrations and waves, electricity and magnetism, and sound and light, with emphasis on applying the principles to understand our everyday experience. You also study the concepts of physics with a minimum of mathematics.
