CEQA Update
(0.7 ceu)
7 hours MCLE credit for attorneys
This is an important update for planners, attorneys, and others involved in land-use issues who need to keep up with changes in the use and application of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
The course covers the application of CEQA to special situations, its current use in the EIR process, and new legislation of specific relevance to it. Case law is used to focus on changing agency guidelines and interpretations of what constitutes "substantive legal adequacy" of an environmental analysis. Planners, officials, industry representatives, and others involved in land use issues will find this course of particular interest. Some knowledge of or experience with CEQA is recommended.
