A requirement in the Professional Sequence in Personal Financial PlanningThis course examines retirement and other investment-oriented employment benefits available to business clients and their employees, planning opportunities for tax deferral and capital accumulation, and the advantages and disadvantages of each alternative. Topics include stock options, nonqualified deferred compensation plans and other capital accumulation devices, tax-favored corporate retirement plans, noncorporate retirement programs, and taxation of benefits.
