Learn concise definitions for the features and terminology used in creating Java technologies architectures in a course designed for development engineers, architects, R&D managers, product marketing managers, and program and project management personnel. You get an introduction to the various essential Java technologies and components, such as RMI, servlet/JSP, CORBA, JMS, EJB, J2EE, XML, SOAP, and Web services, with programming examples and exercises at a level of detail necessary to build multitier and enterprise-level Java architectures.
Prerequisite: Six months experience or working knowledge of Java or other object-oriented languages.

MARC RAYGOZA, M.S., is the CEO/founder of Vine Global Solutions, provider of e-commerce and logistical solutions. Raygoza has also held engineering and consulting positions at companies including Toyota Motors U.S.A., Washington Mutual, and Heidrick and Struggles. He is also the winner of the 2008 Start It Up national business plan competition. Raygoza holds a master's in software engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a bachelor's in accountancy from Fresno State University.NOTE: This class is closed.
