Explore the process of creating and managing a business. Following an analysis of your own tolerance for entrepreneurial risk and a discussion of how to recognize and analyze business opportunities, you focus on techniques for conducting market research and understanding the economics of a chosen line of business. You then examine important aspects of finance, budgeting, valuation, sources of capital, and the importance of the business plan. You also develop a venture plan with the assistance of the instructor.
