Python, an open-source scripting language that allows rapid application development of both large and small software systems, is object-oriented by design and provides an excellent platform for learning the basics of language programming. Learn this ideal language for team projects that provides access to databases, CGI programming, system administration, and other useful services.

Prerequisites: While no previous programming experience is required, you should have access to a computer running Python or access to the Internet to allow you to download Python.
