Fulfills the Computer Education Level II requirement for California teaching credentialsGet an overview of current computer technologies you can use whether your classroom environment is technology-rich or technology-poor. You can also learn about ethical and legal issues involved in using this technology. Basic knowledge of computer use is required. The course features two classroom meetings and two online meetings.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with computer basics such as toolbars, the mouse, copying, saving, and so on. In addition, participants should have basic familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, simple e-mail functions, and searching the Internet.

She specializes in teaching educators ways to integrate Web 2.0 technologies into their classrooms. Noyes is the creative director of the digital media company Making Movie Memories, specializing in digital filmmaking.
