Principles and Elements of Design
X412.1 (4 semester units in Architecture)
A requirement in the Certificate Program in Interior Design and Interior Architecture and in the Certificate Program in Landscape ArchitectureExplore and develop your creativity in this beginning studio course. You learn the principles—balance, harmony, rhythm, emphasis, contrast, and proportion—that are the foundation of good design, and how these principles interact with the elements of scale, form, color, and texture.
Note: Section 2, which begins on September 3, is geared toward landscape architecture students.

His designs for buildings, building complexes and city planning projects have been executed in Europe and the United States.
