A requirement in the Certificate Program in Interior Design and Interior ArchitectureIn this studio, you take a hospitality project from the
conceptual/schematic phase to the design development phase.
Space planning, millwork design, selection of appropriate
colors, materials, and furnishing are critical to carrying out
an established design theme. You learn how to produce a high-quality, well-designed project using sustainable materials, appropriate lighting, and attention to acoustics.
Note: Course fee includes a $50 lab fee.
Prerequisite: Studio II X408.2.

MIYUKI YAMAGUCHI, B.A., LEED AP, is a senior project designer/design director in the hospitality practice at Gensler San Francisco.Her diverse project experience includes convention/conference centers, entertainment, corporate offices and hospitality work. In recent years, her focus has been upscale and sustainable new construction hotel projects in the United States and overseas.Revised class schedule in red.
