X423 (2 semester units in Art)
Using found imagery and a variety of media, you can explore elements of color, composition, surface, and texture. Course projects encourage you to experiment with layering images and using transparencies, symbols, text, and collaborative art-making to create a body of work, develop a bank of ideas for future work, and uncover the magical and expressive possibilities of all kinds of materials and objects.
