Leadership: The Role of Power and Authority

A requirement in the Certificate Program in ManagementLearn how power, authority, influence, and tradition converge in the hands of a skilled leader. You study a conceptual framework for practicing effective leadership, how and when to apply the different elements of leadership, how to negotiate, how to use power and influence in the absence of formal authority, and how to promote organizational commitment and optimism through enhanced leadership skills.
