Overview of Urban Redevelopment and Environmental Law
(0.7 ceu)
MCLE credit: 7 hours
Environmental laws and enforcement policies play an increasingly important role in land use decisions that once fell under the almost exclusive purview of local governments.
This course examines the interaction among urban redevelopment policies, environmental laws, and local land-use decisions, identifying opportunities and obstacles to promoting "smart growth" in existing communities and discouraging sprawl in undeveloped areas.
