Formerly Applying the Principles of Project Management in Preclinical Development
A requirement in the Professional Program in Project Management in the Life Science IndustriesUnderstanding project management processes and methodology is critical to achieving preclinical project success. Gain a detailed understanding of the preclinical development processes, including transitioning from discovery to the preclinical phase, developing the target profile plan (TPP) and preclinical critical path, forming teams and developing budgets. Examine good laboratory practices (GLP), resource management such as subject-matter experts and outsourcing, and preparing for investigational new drug application (IND) filing.
Prerequisites: Experience in drug development and project planning or completion of the following:
