There are currently no sections open for enrollment.
X402.3 (2 semester units in EECS)
Learn to implement a complete IP private branch exchange (PBX) software system running on the Linux operating system. You learn how to obtain, compile, and install a complete configuration of Asterisk, the leading open-source IP PBX, while configuring many advanced PBX features supporting VoIP and interoperating with standards-based telephony equipment using relatively inexpensive hardware. You end this course capable of applying VoIP knowledge, creating the most useful end product—a production IP PBX using Asterisk over the Linux operating system.
