Meets the requirement of training in child abuse and incest assessment, reporting, and treatment for licensure in California by the Board of Psychology or the Board of Behavioral Sciences

Learn to place child abuse and neglect within its historical and cultural context; then, proceed to a review of the requirements of California child-abuse reporting laws. Learn how to identify the signs of abuse and neglect. You also learn guidelines for assessment and discuss the special challenges of interviewing children.
