Johanna Forman, M. Arch, is a senior associate at Veverka Architects, where she has done designing and detailing for residential and commercial projects for more than 12 years. She was recognized as an outstanding graduate student instructor by the Department of Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, where she completed her graduate studies.
Jerry Veverka, M.Arch., AIA, is a principal of Veverka Architects where he has practiced residential design for 35 years. His projects have been featured on television and published in San Francisco Houses and Architecture magazine. He is also a painter who has been exhibited in several group art shows.

A requirement in the Certificate Program in Interior Design and Interior ArchitectureLearn the language and methods of mechanical drafting. Produce floor and ceiling plans, and learn how to draw elevations and sections that communicate your ideas. Throughout the process, you gain an understanding of industry standards and see how information is organized. Further enhance your communication skills by studying the principles of orthogonal drawings to create one- and two-point perspectives. Plan to purchase drafting equipment that you use in this course and throughout the program.
