Jim McCabe, D.S.W., M.S.W., M.P.H., president of Eldercare Resources, has worked as a consultant and trainer in a variety of health-care settings and has served as a faculty member in schools of social work.

A requirement in the Professional Program in Health AdvocacyExplore the legal and ethical issues faced by health care professionals and health advocates that are a natural part of the clinical practice process. Through lectures, discussion and case studies, explore the principles that guide ethical practice, the ethical dilemmas that exist in a variety of settings, and local and federal guidelines. You also investigate tools for identifying and implementing an approach for ethical professional practice in health care settings.
