A requirement in the Certificate Program in Interior Design and Interior ArchitectureDevelop plans that satisfy programmatic needs and use space efficiently. Learn techniques for assimilating client-project information, analyzing program requirements and developing schematic space-planning solutions for residential and commercial situations. You also study building codes, fire safety and barrier-free designs as essential components of laying out a workable interior space.

Graphic Communication I X476.1,
AutoCAD X479.1 or
Revit X479.2, and
Design Studio I X482.1

Future-Term Courses and Enrollments
Courses are offered three terms per year: spring, summer, fall. Information about upcoming courses is available when enrollment opens each term.
- Spring term: Enrollment opens in early December. Classes begin in January.
- Summer term: Enrollment opens in early April. Classes begin in late May.
- Fall term: Enrollment opens in early July. Classes begin in August.
