A requirement in the Certificate Program in Landscape Architecture

Learn graphic communication methods unique to landscape architectural analysis, design and client presentation. Focus on orthographic drawing, such as plan, section, and elevation; lettering; and drafting. Emphasis on freehand drawing is limited. Plan to purchase drawing equipment and tools; a list is provided at the first meeting. Bring pencils and paper to the first class.

Courses are offered three terms per year: spring, summer, fall. Information about upcoming courses is available when enrollment opens each term.

• Spring term: Enrollment opens in early December. Classes begin in January.
• Summer term: Enrollment opens in early April. Classes begin in late May.
• Fall term: Enrollment opens in early July. Classes begin in August.
