Mimi Albert, M.F.A., is a novelist, writer of short fiction and nonfiction, book reviewer and teacher of creative writing. She has published two novels, The Second Story Man (Fiction Collective, 1975) and Skirts (Baskerville Publishers, 1994). Both her novels and short fiction have won numerous honors. She has taught creative writing at UC Berkeley Extension for nearly 10 years.

Mary Ann Koory, Ph.D., Extension Honored Instructor, earned her degree from UC Berkeley in English literature, and has lectured on Shakespearean and other literature for UC Berkeley and San Francisco State University. She also teaches creative writing for novels and poetry for UC Berkeley Extension.
