C Language Programming I

This course provides a solid introduction to all of the fundamental aspects of C, including elementary data types; arithmetic, logical and bitwise operators; control-flow statements; functions; structures; pointers; program scope rules; good program design practices; and C debugging techniques. Emphasis is on ANSI-standard C, but earlier versions of C are also discussed. No computing facilities are provided; you are required to have access to a C compiler and hard-copy output device for programming assignments.

Prerequisite: Prior experience with a high-level programming language is helpful.
