An elective in the Professional Sequence in Graphic DesignBased on Josef Albers’s
Interaction of Color, this workshop includes exercises in color intensity and brightness, transparency, color intervals, mixtures and other perceptual effects. Lectures, demonstrations and exercises explore the effects that color has on people and the environment. This course is ideal if you want to understand color relationships and human perception.

Courses are offered three terms per year: spring, summer, fall. Information about upcoming courses is available when enrollment opens each term.
- Spring term: Enrollment opens in early December. Classes begin in January.
- Summer term: Enrollment opens in early April. Classes begin in late May.
