An elective in the Certificate Program in Interior Design and Interior ArchitectureGain a new appreciation for the world of textiles as expert Laurel Sprigg shares her passion and knowledge of the ancient craft of weaving. Trace the development of natural fibers to synthetic weaves. Experience exotic, new and vintage products. Get a behind-the-scenes look at San Francisco Design Center showrooms and the Textile Conservation Lab of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. This course is well suited for both design professionals and the interested public.
