This program is designed for professionals who want in-depth knowledge of information systems. You should be familiar with programming logic and design concepts. A bachelor's degree is necessary. Students in the Information Systems and Management Certificate Program must take at least 10 total semester units of classes to receive the certificate. At least six (6) semester units of the 10 required must come from the core courses list.
All ISM students planning on taking UNIX/Linux and/or database courses are suggested to have a pre-configured laptop or desktop computer with a combination of database software, MS Windows, and UNIX/Linux. Students should also have administrator/root user privileges and a willingness to install software on their laptop or desktop computer.Stephen Chang
