Program Fees and Billing Information

Below are the fees for the Fall 2009 semester of Fall Program for Freshmen (FPF).

The FPF Program Fee does not include:

Notes: The FPF Reservation Fee is a separate fee from the $100 fee paid to UC Berkeley's Office of Undergraduate Admissions to accept spring enrollment and sent with your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR). The FPF Program Fee remains the same regardless of the number of units a student is enrolled in. Non-residents are assessed the same fee as California residents.

University Health Fee

In addition to the FPF Program Fee, there is a mandatory fee for the UC Berkeley Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). You may be eligible to waive this fee.

Billing Information

Once you enroll in FPF, a billing account will be created for you on UC Berkeley's Campus Accounts Receivables System (CARS). Billing statements will be available in July.

The University does not process paper billing statements. You must sign up for e-Billing in order to view due dates and charges to your account. Please contact UC Berkeley's Billing and Payment Services for all billing questions: (510) 642-3190.

Note: The e-Bill system is available to FPF students starting July 6, 2009. E-Bill is available to fall-admitted students beginning June 1, 2009.
